It’s funny how so many of the lessons we learned then, apply to business today. One of the traits that most successful businesses have in common is the ability to share. Information, data, lessons learned – all of these are crucial components to share with the rest of the organization.

Smaller companies have an advantage in this regard, as sharing information may simply require an all-hands meeting. For larger corporations, it’s more difficult.

The global nature of many organizations makes sharing much more of a challenge. Technology has stepped in to help overcome this problem, with things like company intranets, email and video conferencing. But so far, technology has fallen short of the mark when it comes to creating a system for sharing.
